Breakfast is an unrushed event, served between 8:30 and 9:30 in our formal dining room or
on our three season glassed in porch.
Whenever possible we use local or organic ingredients and are always happy to accommodate a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle. Gluten free is a breeze. Don’t hesitate to ask!
On our serving table you will find:
- Coffee and Tea
- Fresh Juices
- Yoghurt and sometimes homemade granola
- Fresh fruit
- Some goodies such as cobbler, scones, or cinnamon buns, always homemade
A different hot entrée is prepared every morning. It may be Banana Stuffed French Toast with real maple syrup, Veggie Frittata, Strata, or Puffed Apple Pancake. Add bacon or sausage and cracked wheat bread from a nearby bakery to complete your meal.
If you are renting our Lake Cottage, we stock the fridge with breakfast goodies for 2 or 3 days – eggs, bacon, bread, juice, etc. and of course, the coffee!
