Breakfast is an unrushed event in three courses served between 8:30 and 9:30
in our formal dining room or on our three season glassed in porch.
Whenever possible we use local or organic ingredients and are always happy to accommodate a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle. Gluten free is a breeze. Don’t hesitate to ask!

- Some goodies such as cobbler, scones, or cinnamon buns, always homemade
A different hot entrée is prepared every morning. It may be Banana Stuffed French Toast with real maple syrup, Veggie Frittata, Strata, or Puffed Apple Pancake. Add bacon or sausage and cracked wheat bread from a nearby bakery to complete your meal. We serve Dean’s Beans Organic and Fair Trade Coffee. Two of our favorites are Birdwatcher’s Blend, “a smooth and nutty blend of Guatemalan Aititlan and Mexican Chiapas coffees from shade-grown farms; great taste and protects critical migratory songbird habitats” , and Guatemalan French Roast, a medium bodied coffee with a smoky flavor.
If you are renting our Lake Cottage, we stock the fridge with breakfast goodies for 2 or 3 days – eggs, bacon, bread, juice, etc. and of course, the coffee!
